Happy Everyday!
The past two months have ben quite busy for Seth and I...I have finally been able to start crafting again and throwing parties (my only hobby these days!). So here is what you missed in the life of Melissa (and Seth too...but mostly me). A couple weeks ago I went to a baby shower where all they asked for was diapers (it was their second child and going to be the same gender as their first). I usually make diaper cakes on occasions like this, but since I knew everyone would be bringing diapers, I thought there was a good chance that another person would make one too, and I wanted to try some thing different; so here is what I came up with....

Our next project was to start updates to our little backyard...we built a deck (Brother Gray and Dusty helped Seth). Here a few pics...our next project will be a fence.
Then I threw a baby shower for a sweet girl I visit teach...she loves chicken and roosters so her theme was little chick-a-dee. Here are a few pics from that event.

And then, just yesterday we had a quesdilla Fathers Day Dinner at our house. It was loads of fun and here are some pictures from the evening...I'm sure Dusty will add more too!

Jaxon's Select Band Performance
Jaxon is a part of Select Band. They performed at the 7th and 8th grade concerts. There's a big difference between performing in the middle school gym and the Performing Arts Center at the high school. They sound great. The video is shaky though. Somebody came and sat right in front of Isaac as it was starting. He was sad he couldn't see. I had to pass the camera off to Kayla while I got him out of the stroller. She did a great job for her first time as a videographer. :-) I tried and tried to post the video on the blog. For some reason it wouldn't work. So now it's on youtube. Here are the links:
