Yesterday we had Anna's 1st birthday party. All in attendance were my whole family of course, Mom, Dad, Kelly, Kim, Seth and Melissa. Considering Anna has been sick all week she was in good spirits for her. You know I said this to Liz and Melissa during the party preparations. Never in a million years did I think I would be hanging balloons and streamers for birthday parties. Liz claims she doesn't have the skills...hey I got news for you, your a woman and that gives you more skills than me already from the start!
Melissa did a GREAT job bringing in all the decorations and putting it all together. We make a good team Melissa! Melissa had Anna's cake done professionally by a mother in the ward. It was de-lish! See pictures. Anna scored on clothes. Thanks Grandpa, Grammie and Auntie's!!!
What Liz also did was make some hitting crock-pot BBQ chicken sandwiches. Boy it was hittin'. We had fries on the side and some wonderful cupcakes that Liz made as well. Check out the pics!
